I went into halfords today to buy a set of ripspeed alloys as they were a complete bargain, £250 brand new! I asked the bloke at the desk if they would fit onto a saxo and he said no
But my mate has put the same size alloys on his 106 and there virtually the same arnt they?

its not the size that matters mate its the pcd and offset. if you search then you will find the correct sizes you need.

ok so that offset is 38 and the pcd is 4x100/108, would they fit a saxo?

i went to halfords they said no i have they same car as you i tried my mates 175/55/15 and they rubbed so tried a couple of others everyone said vtr alloys would fit but on mine they cught the inside of the arch when on full look so i brought a black pair of alloys which where 175/70/13 same as what i had on just a little bigger and on full lock can fit my hand sideways between the wheel and inner arch so anything bigger is going to be close and very well may rub

fair enough, but cant see how my mate has whacked on a pair of 15s on his 106 and they dont rub at all, unless the offset is small on his

my mates done the same think must be something to do with the arches mu=st be little wider and inside piese is turned up or further back a bit

Hello mate. You need 108 PCD, and an offset of 15 ET to fit a saxo. 15" wheels will fit with 195/45/15 tyres, this is called the 'plus one' effect.

This basically means that 15" wheels with 195/45/15 tyres, is the same overall diameter as standard steel wheels (14") + standard tyres (185/55/14).

    I hope this helps
