   ok had a first attemp at lowering the front my today..l got the springsd on both sides fine, but cant get the stut back into the top mout, 3 hours iv been trying for

   you have compressed the spring enough havnt you before putting all the top mount assembly and top mount bearing on havnt you?

   am guessing ur trying to do it without spring compressors ?
   
   u can do it using ur body wieght , but do it the right way
   
   a never use spring compressors but its a bit dangerous
   
   get sum spring compressors and MAKE SURE they are seated properly before u tighten them right up , they will take ur eye out if they spring off , once u have them tighten up , pull the shocky up as hight as it will go so its at max height , place the topmount on , tighten , job done
   
   make sure u get the washers on right aswell
