Spoiler - with or without?

Just interested what others opinions are on the vt* spoilers, keep them on or go for the smoother look and take it off.

I have always liked the spoilers but since having to change my bootlid, my new one doesnt have one, but i am in two minds whether to put the spoiler off my old bootlid back on. Without one i think the car looks a bit more clean cut.

with spoiler deff. looks a little odd without. mk2 preferably as mk1 looks a little.... dated

Have you got pics with and without? Personally, i think it depends on the rest of the car.

Haha was expecting a few differing opinions but ohwell looks like i know what im doing next weekend lol. Theres pictures of it in my progress thread named £100 MK1 VTR 1999, its on the first page of the photos/video section at mo. Then you will understand why i had to remove the old one!

if u take the spoiler of a mk 2 ur left with 2 holes in the back window and if you can actually get the spoiler of a mk1 then ur gunna have holes in the boot so keep it on lol think aero dynamics

Sorry probably should of said at the start, my cars a mk1 vtr changed the boot due to a big dent when i bought it. The new boot has never had a spoiler on so there isnt holes or anything. I have got my mk1 spoiler still on the old boot so that could go back on.

in which case get a mk1 spoiler as its easier to fit, but personally is just get a mk2 spoiler, cut off the taps that go thrpough the window and bond it to the boot.
