   my car is dropping at the rear on take off and then back up when i stop.
   also today a bit of sqealing today could they be seized as i use it everyday but my clutch is going and the car does not roll back like it used to on a slight hill think that is the clutch tho could the clutch be affecting the rear to do this ???
   got a clutch comming in mornin off e bay.

   the clutch will not affect anything at the back of the car. we need more info to help.
   
   what do you mean by dropping and going back up?
   
   ( as if the handbrake was on and it drops when trying to pull off with it on??)
   
   and what do you think could be seized?

   i have the same problem mate on my vts and have had a look and one of my breaks is sticking at the back of the car on mine its the passenger side, when at speed on the motorway do u have a helicopter like sound coming from one side ?

   seized rear brakes maybe???? have you checked it over yet?

   hey mate ive the same problem on one side (passenger) what can i do about this?
   
   will spraying the s**t out of it with brake cleaner do the trick ?

   both my calipers seized. so when you put the handbrake on it stuck after you took it off. you can release it by using pliers and moving the bit where the handbrake cable goes into each caliper back and forth. mine were knackerd in the end and stuck constantly so got 2 new calipers which wernt cheap at all

   if one is sticking they will be very hot when you stop try having a check at that

   washed car today it smoked. smell burning from back end its both sides of rear breaks cant understand why it both sides tho gotta be the hanbrake tho sticking anyone know what i can do ??

   yea can they sieze as using car every day i cant understand how its both sides tho and not just one side thats seized.

    my rear brake was sticking (drum brake) squealed for ages when hand brake was releastd, all i had to do was grease my high spots,
