Central Locking Faulty - can it be draining my battery?

  1. #1
My Saxo has been fine until yesterday when I went shopping and tried to lock the car. I used the key fob to lock the doors and they locked and immediately opened again.

We checked all doors were shut etc, no problems there. Left my car at work in a secure compound as it was left unlocked all night. Just gone to start car today and the batter is completely dead. Luckily the maintenance men at work have managed to start it up with a battery booster but wonder if the locking has drained the battery.

Why won't my car lock? and would this problem be a part of the battery being drained?

    Any help appreciated.

Tried to start the car again this morning and its completely dead again. Also one of the doors has locked itself and the other 3 remained unlocked. I didn't try and lock the doors it seems to have locked just one back door in its own.

Car now not usuable as the battery is completely drained every night.

    Any ideas?

Sorry for bumping this to the top but I really don't know where to start in trying to fix my car.

Does anyone have any suggestions what could be completely draining my battery and what is making my central locking fail but lock one back door once the battery dies?

Car went into garage for 4 days. Eventually they found a burnt out module and wire in door. These were replaced and the central locking worked fine.

However just gone out to car now and after locking the doors, two of them remain locked. I can't open the passenger door or one of the rear doors.

I don't have any locking latches inside the car to enable me to unlock the door. What can I do? Should I return to the garage under the same fault?
