clutch bolts

   does n e 1 know how many different types of cluth bolts there are
   as far as i know there are 2 types
   1.cap head bolts 7mm
   2.torque bolts.
   problem is i shered one of my bolts,
   went to the scrappy and found what looked like a mk1 black top engine with cap head bolts
   went home and found out that there too small
   any ideas?cheers matt

   Fairly sure some use 8mm cap heads

   just split a mk1 vts they way 6mm allen

   Sexy do u mean they take a 6mm allen key to undo them?

   found out that the bolt size is right but the length is too short
   went to the scrappy and the only bolt length i could find was 28.5mm
   trouble is the bolts i need are 37.5,any help would be appreciated
   any ideas on what car it may of come out.cheers matt

   yes 6mm head to undo them
