You've got to take the strut out mate

If i had the wheel bearing.. much would a garage charge to take the hub out and press a new bearing in ? A rough estimate ?

If you take the strut off the car and take it to them it should be no more then about £20. They are removing the strut then an hours labour total for both sides.
