help engine/bike carbs

    right my engine in my vtr is dead
    im bying a 62k vtr engine out of a mk2 my old man is fitting the new lump
    the help i need is im going to be bying a vtr head running some bike carbs what is involved in fitting the head with carbs to new engine will i need new cambelt and that??? how much am i looking cheers

    its pointless puttin carbs on a saxo better with bike throttle bodies or is this what you meant. your engine's feul injected standard so carbs would be decreasing power. you need a programable ecu to run throttle bodies as you cant map the standard one, inlet manifold, feul pressure regulator and to get the best from tb's your better uprating your cams to up the bhp. its a good 600 quid at least to get a cheap throttle body set up. and thats before mapping
