Mine has a slight crack in it, obviously causing a small oil leak (if you could call it that) its more like a dribble, is it easy to replace ? how long do you SaxP'ers recon?

#2Yeah its easy to replace. All you need to do is remove the rocker cover, then remove the gasket (it just pulls off), put the new one on, put the rocker cover back on. Job done.

#3i done mine the over week taken me about 5 mins

#6Where can you get a gasket from? Can't find any for sale
-
#7Thats about right, the gasket definately shouldnt be more than £10
Should be able to get it from anywhere such as Car User, Central Auto Supplies, Euro car parts, ebay, its a very very common part so should have no problems getting one

#8my ax rocker cover was around £7 bout 6 months ago, brother fitted it while i went for a quick shop and was done before i got back

One thing that surprised me was the state of the old one, and how different it felt to the new one! -
#9i got one from unipart 7 pound takes about 10 mins 2 bolts on rocker under neath 2 little spacers make sure you put them back in on top of the plate but it is an easy job.well worth doing because they crack and leak after a while it gets hot around there.
