How to spray badges plz help fast

   got a spare set of rear badges and am going to spray do i sand them over and smooth of first and then just spray over with my black spray paint and when replacing all pins are still there so do i need double sided tape

   all i done was gave them a little sanding then few coats of primer few of black and few of lacquer they turned out ok if u get probs just sand down again but im sure there is a guide on here somewhere yh tape to get them back on
