lowered on 16's?

Just wondering if any of you lads have lowered your car on 16's?

i hear 40mm drop on 195/40/16 tyres should be ok,

But i am rather tempted by 40mm front and 50/60mm back

Anyone done this? Any work needed? if so, what?

please show pics if you have any?

    Thanks - Dan

I think you can go down 40mm fine aslong as you use 40profile tyres.

    This.

Im running 195/40/r16's and dont have any problems.

Just get the odd rub when going over a bump etc with 1/2 people in the back.

yeh im gonna be getting 40 profile tyres

i never have passengers in the back, so i shouldnt have problems (I Hope) lol

anyone know about going down 50/60 at the back? What work would need doing if any?

    Cheers

For the back its a torsion bar. Should cost about £100. If you go below 40mm you'll need uprated shocks.
