spraying cam covers

   just wondered how easy or how hard they are to take off really,
   am looking to decorate my engine bay a little bitand would like to spray it another colour ?
   just not sure wether they are hard to get off and if i was too take it off is there anything i could damage in the process ?

   they are very easy to take off just be carefull that you dont damage the seals on the covers. polishing them is a better option imo

   Powdercoating is better than painting em. But the seal wont survive the heat from when the paint gets baked on.

   okies thanks yeah in a dilemma wether to spray em or polish.. powder coat them red would look nice

   i used poster paint it worked a treat i primed them with tesco value PVA
