206 gti brakes? are they any better than my 1.4 westy ones ? if so how hard are they to fit? are they a straight swap ?
  2. #2
Yes they're loads better, they're not too difficult to fit, you just need new discs, pads and the calipers. And bolts IIRC.

so to summarise, 206 gti brakes (266mm) are a straight fit using your saxo hoses.
they are easy to change if you can bleed brakes (thats probably the trickiest part).
you need discs, calipers, carriers and pads.
they are A LOT better than your current set up.
and they might cost £80-100ish, how long is a piece of string really.
zaine is selling some decent ones in the for sale section.
