#2If you can covert to a VTS engine then it's much better. Then if you cam the VTS engine then you could see 150bhp when coupled with other mods

#3VTS conversion should be cheaper and will give you a better base to work from. You will want a VTS/ S1 or S2 Rallye/ 1.4 XSI gearbox to compliment it though.
Insurance wise, you'd need to make a few enquiries. -
#4sound could point me in any direction to get a vts engine, my old man is a machanic and owns his own garage and my insurance is on the garage so dnt need to pay anything, but ill be doing most of the work like i have been doing

#5Getting harder to find good VTS lumps.
A lot of people are now going for the TU5JP4 (later version of the engine fitted to the C2, 206 XSI etc.) as there's more, lower mileage ones around. I think GMC in Scotland have a good supply of these, as do Pug Cit.
I'm not too clued up on the wiring side of things, but you'll need the inlet and exhaust manifolds and throttle body from the older TU5J4 lump. You'll also need to drill and tap a few extra holes to fit the inlet manifold to the later head. -
#6wow sooo..... a C2 vts, sax vts inlet and throttle body, sounds confusing but i prob would manage it but i think ill stick to the vts engine for now how much u reckin for a vts engine and rallye gearbox?
