drop link

just got in from the most enjoyable drive i have had for a long time after replacing my near side arb drop link today, seems to have cured all the knocking noises and has completly restored my faith in the car

right to my questions, should drop links be replaced in pairs?, i ask this as the drop link i fitted today was from euro car parts and made by "Q Drive" and i noticed that it has a slightly smaller diameter than the one i stuggled to take off( rounded bottom nut and hex bit in the threaded stud ) , will the smaller diameter make any difference

    cheers jim

they dont essentially have to be changed in pairs like, for instance, brake discs BUT i would expect if one side has gone the other side cant be far behind and i would change both at the same time as a matter of course.
they aint exactly expensive are they!
