Gear linkage question.

  1. #1
    Hi guys,
Couple of questions regarding the linkages on my VTS.
Mine feels a little sloppier than it has done. So I'm thinking of uprating the linkages and getting a B&M short shifter? Good idea?

What linkages are best to get, and has anyone got a B&M for sale?

    Thanks.

Mines just the same the pins did fall out of mine while i was driving had to have them replaced but the garage i took it to told me if it still feels slack after and i want it sotring they can drill it and put a screw in it so theres no free play in the gears.

there is some shit hot looking rose jointed ones on e-bay at the mo! But you are talking ££'s think they were £75, which, if money is no problem then go for it.

Never used up-rated ones so not sure, my gearstick is like a coal stirrer haha

I'd try and keep a bit of 'rubber' in the linkages to help your syncro's IMO

Might be worth taking yours off and checking their condition before buying some, some new standard ones might tighten things up a lot as yours are shot.

Work really well on the saxo and 106.. with the locking mechanism there isn't any chance of these coming off while driving.
