    Part number 16-014 I have.

    http://www.rtecshop.com/index.php?p=...roduct_id=9072

Some sites say 40mm, but I think its 35mm on VT's, due to them being 5mm lower than non VT's.

good stuff mate, just give me a shout.
  15. #15
i will do indeed, just to pick your brains what made you go dwn 35/40mm why not 45/50mm as im looking at some threads and alot of people go for lower= better, i like 40mm as its sporty and not chavvy??
  16. #16
I wanted to stay sensible really. I live in speedbump central and often have my missus and the little'un in the car, so a low bumpy ride was not really an option.
  17. #17
i just want a sporty look with out the decked chavvy credentials and thats apoint my mrs will string me up if the cars really bumpy ha ha

If lowering 40mm will you need new dampners?

Im looking to lower mine 40mm when i buy my sax, best compromise for looks and ride comfort, but will i need to do anything else other than buy and fit the springs?

    Lowering noob here

if your looking for a track slag with awesome handling then yes you need dampeners but if your looking for better looks with a slight improvement over standard handling (like me ) then no you only need springs. you will also need to sort the torsion bar out to make it sit level.

    cheers

How and what would i need to do to the torsion bar?

And would i be able to do it myself or is it a garage job, coz this just adds on the price.

well i don't mind trying to do mechanical jobs but im staying well away from the tortion bar lol although i have never tried it it seems complex and i don't want to risk it, you would be better to ask someone like sparco_tom as he knows his stuff

    cheers
