Is Possible To Swap Saxo And 206 Engines?

   Just wondering about this as thinkin about putting a saxo engine in this 206 ive found with siezed block

   i think it will depend on what engine reli u wana drop in there

   if its the gti 180 engine then is not a straight fit cost quite a bit i belive but other engines may fit like the 1.4 as off top of my head is same engine as the quicker sliver and furio etc

   206 1.6 xsi 16v, basically a vts engine me thinks

   ok thanks, i need an engine for a 206 1.4 glx, i have a friend with a vtr engine although this is obvs 1.6 would it fit. Or would a 1.4 saxo block fit?
   
   if it did fit would any modifications need to be made or just bolt on?

   It's possible but not worth the work. Just buy a 206 engine, probs wind up alot cheaper.

   is it possible to drop a 1.4 206 engine into a saxo 1.1? just thinking would this affect the ecu? and would i be able to use the same g.box?

    yes. you would need ecu and loom aswell. and you can use your gearbox
