my magnex

   I have a full magnex de cat system on my saxo. It is lowered 50mil.
   I find that the pipe catches the ground on certain bumpy roads. This really annoying. Is there anything I can do part from highten the car/buy a different exhaust? Or is there a fault? Personally I just think its the way the pipe bends.

   They all do it. Put up with it or higher your car. Possibly get some smaller tighter exhaust rubbers.

   Mines down 60mm and never gives me any issues

   get some smaller tighter exhaust rubbers,im runing full abp magnex with no middle box,and its fine........................

   Exhuast rubbers as said. If it still persists then you can get a sort of "sump guard" for the exhaust. But that is a last resort tbh

   I've smashed my middle box a few times now, i'm down 60mm..
   
   I did have a custom centre section made up with no box but i've taken that off now. Far far too loud.
   
   If you lift it to high it catches on the gear linkage i've found.

   I get the same probs, it's the cenntre silencer tht hits, get it removed or higher the car if it still does it with new rubbers, I'm just careful with it tbh rather than changin my car to suit

   I don't understand how so many people's catch all the time?

    Im down 60/80 only slightly lower with a magnex system. It only catches on speed bumps, or the ramps in underground car parks.
    
    Have to admit though mines going to need welding ina few months.
    
    The reason it probs catches on other cars is couse they gone for the chav fit where it hangs low.

    The middle box of my magnex catches on certain things around my area and it is fitted perfect. The only thing you could do would be to buy a abp centre section which has no middle box in
