Front anti roll bar?

  1. #1
I've been browsing through my haynes manual and have stumbled upon a section to do with front anti roll bars on a 1.1.

Can you adjust them? Am I right in saying they help prevent body roll?

They are fixed and cannot be adjusted.

You can change the bushes for stiffer ones though, but you probably wont notice any significant difference in the suspension behaviour from just those bushes alone

Ah fair enough, is there anything else I could do to make it feel stiffer and less roll in the corners?

better springs/shocks mate.. lower suspension to give less area for the car to flex
try tipping something high over compared to something low if you get what i mean, less leverage. my saxo is dropped 50mm and there is next to no body roll its lovely

You can, but in order to do so you need the VT* wishbones aswel, and to fit the VT* ARB you need the VT lower strut legs to allow fitting of the droplinks which mount between the end of the ARB and lower strut leg on each side

Its all easy enough to do, but you do need all those parts to do it
