it was like this on my hub nut aswell, in the end i had to drill staked bits out and then it came lose, had to get a new one, it was £3 from citroen i think but i ended up getting a nut that had nylon on the thread so it didnt come lose, much better than one you need to stake

i tried to drill the stake but but the trouble is, is the nut looks asif its been welded onto the driveshaft as you cant see a gap between them.
also i bought some new hub nuts from citroen but they are like 10m deeper than the ones originally on they only just fit on the driveshaft.

there are two different types IIRC. 15mm deep and 25mm deep. mine are 25mm deep and are about £3.43 each. Sounds like u bought 25mm ones but need 15mm ones

why would they sell two different types??
i gave them myu chassis number and they came up with them
(yes they are the 25mm ones)

cos its a citroen and they do stupid things like that for no reason.

try puttin a blow torch on it sometimes this helps free them up
