Personally I'd use lukewarm water, no soap to wash, then get the finish off with 1000 / 1200 grit. do this until its smooth.

Use a THIN coat of primer (after washing dust off in lukewarm water). leave it to dry for atleast 20 mins. grab yourself a cup of tea and some biscuits or something.

Go back, check theres no bubbling etc, if you're happy, then go for the colour coat, once again light and then. leave it to dry again for atleast 20 mins. Then repeat if more colour is required.

    Hope this helps

did you shake the spray can vigorously before starting each coat?

Thats caused by silicone from cleaning products normally....did you buy surface cleaner??? Also did you apply a plastic primer??

    Wow!!!!

Make sure to use plastic primer, clean with proper cleaning stuff.... And by the looks of things you have sprayed loads of paint at a time.

Remember to do thin layers and leave to dry within each coat.

It may be down to spraying conditions or temperature (to cold) but looks like a reaction to silicone/cleaning product as said.

    hiya, thanks for reply

    been doing this all day.

used plastic primer they have had about 3-4 coats, all been sanded intbetween, with 1200 untill smooth. each coat was left, 20-30mins.

i shaked the can well between each coat.

the pink, is also for plastic, and it has had 3 coats, all put on sparingly.

the only thing i can see that i have havent done is to use suface cleaner to remove the silcone.

i got plenty of stuff so i'll just go through the process again, and hopefully get it right this time, cheers

oh what you think the colour?

scotch before you apply the primer Make sure you have shack the can well for about 2 mins.
use plastic primer and make sure it is clean of grease as it will cause the paint to seperate as in the picture.
allow to dry properly and sand between coat.apply coats lightly.

if all else fails just very very lightly spray just that area thats not sticking, almost like dropping the paint in the holes. plenty of layers and it;ll start to stick and be good enough to sand again and respray fully
