Are these number plates legal ?

   Hey guys,
   
   i am currently on the look out for some pressed plates, but i wouldnt mind some with the french thing on rather than the GB.
   
   so I have seen these:

   Are they legal ? If not what is not legal about them ? is it the french logo or is it the font?
   
   If its the font, can i not just get some legal GB pressed ones with the French logo thing on it? if you get me
   
   my car is a S reg (1998) so S1XX XXX (obv not my reg )

   And did you get them exact ones from ebay ?

   I've got the exact plates as in the link, i've had them on the car since october now and not any problems so far (touch wood) and i've been followed by police about 2/3 times for general checks etc etc.

   iv got the same plates had them on almost a year been fine so far all tho when i a traffic cop i go in the oppersit direction

   mine have been on since 2008 when i registered not one problem at all. depends how strict the local police are i suppose

    I got some French Pressed plates off ebay ( £20.00 ) Coppers have gone by me time after time , and ive never had them turn around & come after me.
