#2thats a bargain, almost too cheap . . . . . .
-
#3lol its a mate rate, my m8s dad is a mechanic
but tbf i thought it was a pretty nice price..
-
#4good price tbh, cam belt kits are quite expensive alone
-
#6Make sure it does include the kit (kits include new tensioner and idler pulley).
Cam Belt Kits are about £40-£60
Cam Belts alone are about £10-£15
But yeah, it will take about 3 hours so I suppose £20 / hour is an OK mate rate? -
#7worth getting the water pump done too
-
#8what Saxo is it?
-
#9Full service where I live was £145 they changed the belt but dunno if they changed the whole kit.
-
#10had it done on saturday, i drank coffee and the guys fitted new belt , tensioners ect, took a little over 2 hrs, now i can finally start improving the look

#11My Cam belt kit was £42 trade (for saxo 1.1), friend of my brothers fitted it in his garage for £30.
I asked if it may need a water pump and mechanic advised me it would be unlikely, but if it did need one he would replace that as well, turned out it didn't need one either! -
#12got your self a bargin pal
