Delocked mk1?

Hi, i only bought my vtr a few weeks ago and its just twigged that i havent got any door locks

so if my central locking fob fails i can only crawl through the boot!!

just wondering if my car has been delocked or if some '97 mk1's were like this as standard?

No its been delocked. Most poeple leave the boot one for just in case.

Also you can hardly see you doorlock area on the second pic.

Get two wires connected to your battery and feed them to the front bumper and stash them, so just in case you car battery fails you can connect jump leads to it and unlock your car. and as for your fob make the battery a cool keyring!

haha cheers guys. its been messed with i'm sure, had 6 previous owners!! i'm sorting out all their handywork so far lol. needs the whole drivers side respraying as you can see it's been sprayed really badly. Also the stereo wiring needs a complete hardwire cause thats fooked also!

They might have done it themselves hence the bad spray

Well the drivers side is really bad, but the passenger side looks profesionally done. maybe they ran out of paint

The drivers side has had a crash in the past, you can see in the pics that the door doesnt sit quite right and theres some damage near the front arch. Probably just a bad respray from the accident but no idea!

getting it resprayed anyway but it aint half been messed with!
