I used to have leda coilovers on my track car and I had them make the dampers for my 309 project.. but I wouldn't call them best of the best

    what would you recommend ?

yeah i have them. mine were used by sombody in the stock hatch series. i cant comment on how good they are because i have not fitted them yet.
they look to be we built though.
i belive they were very expensive when new and cost me £210 to have them serviced.

The frontrunners in the stock hatch are generally using the AST setup. Leda sponsor the series though...
They are not cheap but prices are not that hard to find. Expect to be paying over £1k for a front and rear setup...

Kev what dampers would you suggest to be used with 22/23mm torsion bars? WOuld you reccomend an adjustable one or not?

Looked at gaz gold dampers, but dont know if there up to the job!
How about the ast stock hatch ones?

You probably want something designed to match the torsion bars. I would recommend adjustable if you can afford a good one like the AST. The AST are designed to run around 26mm torsion bars on maximum damping setting so are top notch. The other option is pugsport tarmac rears which are a bit cheaper. Reminds me that I need to get them on the website lol

I always liked Ledas but not had a chance to use then since they were taken over so could not comment on there new price. They were much better then the normal kits you see for sale over so I suspect they still will be very good. I really like the Proflex offering these days and would recommend it any day but your talking a much greater price then the Leda and there normal offerings are prohibited in most classes such as stockhatch as a cost cutting thing.
