Fubard or not???

   driving home from work tonight engine management light came on.so when got home plugged my fault code reader in
   
   fault P0141 O2 sensor heater circuit bank1 sensor2 is lambda fubard or something else i.e wiring??
   
   any ideas lads

   Off the top of my head I think its time for a new Lambda sensor.

   mine light is still on after fitting new cat goes off sometimes but never affected the car

   thought that but was browsing the old autodata at work and was problem with O2 wiring burning out.il fire new lambda on tommrow and weld exhaust as its blowing abit

   Mine came on, fitted a new cat and lambda sensor. Light went off. Came back on a week or so later and has been on ever since (about 6 months), with no problems..

   lambda bank fault normally means the heater coil has gone inside the lambda so its scrap i would say

   if its decatted then thats why, if not try replace after cat lambda sensor

   Yes its decatted car came with standard system and cat when bought car so might just fire that on but do like decat makes it pop and bang but cant be doin with light on everyday annoys me.brother got decat on his corsa sri,i extended his lambda wires for him and his lights never been on since

   try resetting the ecu first thing i do when ever the management light comes on

    90% of the time decatted vts's that have 2nd lambda will bring up em light. mine does.
    
    i have cleared it a few times at work but it comes back on

    thanks for all the advise lads i put new exhaust gaskets on erased faults with my fault code rader and touch wood aint back on yet

    hi i just got a pipercross chrome filter new offebay for 50 quid but they never sent me a rubber sleeve joiner for it any ideas where i could get one to fit my wreg vtr ?
