poor reciption on my radio

   Fitted a new stereo in today and reciption is poor on the radio and rarely picks up channels on autofind, it was the same on my old stereo i took out, the antenna plug looks ok though

   is it an aftermarket ariel? if so that could be causing it or the ariel adaptor might not be incorrectly

   check the aerial adaptor (thing that connects your aerial to the wire inside your car when you remove the interior light) Mine was very badly corroded which caused it not to work very well.
   
   If not no clue, worth a check though mate as its cheap to sort

   If you have an aftermarket beesting you will bo better off getting rid and getting as longer one as that will pick up a better signal

   Mikeyost, I will check that, what did you have to do and was it easy fix and cheap?
   
   Ok its not a after market ariel its standard.
