    vtr's all had cast blocks.

    furios had alloy blocks.

cant be more than 10kg-15kg between the 2 (bigger wheels, slightly larger head and with the airbag interior that would add some)

Parkers is saying the 935kg for a 16V

these are the weights without driver and any fuel like you get from origin french specs, but 935kg is always with air condition, without its 920kg for a dry sax!

Extra 15kg from Air con? i wouldnt have expected it to be that much? but i know in other car's theyre heavy

no uk saxo has Air con, so an intresting point regarding the french specs, i never knew parkers was based upon that

Oh then they made a mistake or depending on other car extras & options.

But yes aircon is about 15kg, I know because I took mine out of my sax.

You got 2 extra cooler 1 in the front, and another inside the car also a lot heavier blower engine with 4 grades of blowing (not 3 like on standard one), all the hoses, a very heavy aircon compressor and for that also a big iron holding construct plate.

So it is minimum 15kg hehe.

That parkers site is really good..

An extra 65 pound a year road tax for a vts over a vtr :O
