radiator problem

    just got back from a short trip to town and back and ihave noticed there is water/coolant dripping out

    the radiator bottle is half empty , do i have a major problem , can i just fill it up to the maximum line with water and antifreeze?

    any help appreciated

    Is the leak from the radiator. If so, examine the radiator for its general condition i.e no major damage or bad corrosion. If the leak is slight then there are many rad weld type of liquid repairs available. Just follow the manufacturers instructions. Also just look at all the hoses and the hoses that go into the radiator as the flanges and connections can get very weak and corroded over time. Hopefully it won't be your head gasket leaking!!!!!
