   I am building a Saxo VTS race car-have a custom cage (weld in) I am going to remove the roof skin-just wondered if anyone has done this before? Any hints or tips? Also looking for a non sunroof roof skin!

   not a bad job to do to be honest.i done it to my race car
   just remove tailgate and windscreen,
   remove the plastic roof strips
   drill out spot welds.
   just remove the roof skin not the panels that go across the top of the windscreen and the one at the rear.
   buy a new roof skin from citroen £90,its alot easier than a second hand one,
   when u get a new skin remove the front and rear panel on it and then just weld it on.

   Thanks mate, its just going to be much easier fitting the cage and welding the roof bars in, also dont have to cover the sunroof hole. What championship are you racing in?

   you have to either cover the sunroof up with a plate or put a non sunroof skin on.
   it looks alot tidier with a skin aswell
