cat converter

   converted to a vts and now its m.o.t time, just wondering are all saxo cats the same aslong as its the undercar 1?

   its a y reg engine with a 2002 loom, dont know if that makes any diff?

   IIRC the cat in your vtr would be in the manifold. Was this changed at all during the conversion? If not then you should be alrite with emisons (please someone correct me if im wrong). If the manifold was changed than this decats the exhaust system meaning it will fail an MOT. What exhaust system do you have on the car?

   The cat was in the mani on the vtr but they are underneath on the vts and the early vtrs, im just wondering is there any difference between the saxo cat aslong as its the undercar 1?

   I wouldnt say so. Ive heard people using 1.1 cats on vtrs so i dont see why you would have a problem
