Thought you may all be interested in the following:
Obviously we are all aware of how good an upgrade the Gti6 brakes are for the saxo/106, but im sure not all of your are aware that you can improve that little bit further .....
Strangely enough, the clio 172/182 fitment (FCP565H) Ferodo DS2500 pad's (& other brands i expect) have a far greater surface area than the normal Gti6 pads & as such, offer even more braking power.
They can only be fitted with new discs though, as the lip on used discs prevents them seating properly.
Its what all the Gti6 boys upgrade to, so when i had my 306 Rallye, it was one of my first modifications, i've now done the same to the saxo
Suppliers, well try these guys:
http://www.auto-nation.co.uk/cart/pr...cat=280&page=1
http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.p...132s4038p53325
Auto-Nation are generally the cheapest, & i normally get even better price via Cliosport ...
Hope that helps
