#4citroen do a v6, think its in teh c6 or something like that. I havent heard of anyone putting the v6 in the saxo, most likely it would have to go in the rear
-
#5didnt a version of the 406 have a v6 in?
-
#6The coupe 406 did i think? probs too big for the saxo though. Like Scott said probs need to go in the rear but anything is possible!
-
#7no i am pretty sure no one has done a v6 in a saxo before
-
#8i heard to put 406 v6 coupe engine in a saxo the chassis had to be made longer! stupid lol
-
#9citreon c5 comes with a 3.0 v6, so they do make one!
iv seen a 305 with v6 in it, looked sweet
-
#10they was a pug 306 on top gear before with a v6 in if i remember correctly.Looked the nuts aswel
-
#11are the C5's rear wheel drive thou??
think i'd try and use the 406 coupe engine, but like its been mention i think it would be to heavy.
If your going to go to the hassle of fitting a engine in the back you may aswel just fit the same as the one in the front and run a twin engined car.
Ive seen a twin engined rs turbo and golf and they went like fuck.lol -
#12Yeah but the 306 is bigger. It looked horrible though the one on top gear.Quote:Originally Posted by liamk15they was a pug 306 on top gear before with a v6 in if i remember correctly.Looked the nuts aswel

Don't really see the point in spending that much money on an engine then putting 20" spinners on it and 15 amps in the boot.

#14no there notQuote:Originally Posted by cammedvtrare the C5's rear wheel drive thou??

#15Hrm... that could be such a good project!Quote:Originally Posted by saxo26citreon c5 comes with a 3.0 v6, so they do make one!

Rip the back seats out and put a v6 in the back

#16the chassie is designed a 1.6 16v front wheel drive. a v6 in the boot is a dum ass move unless you can sort the chassie also. V6 would be heavy & that is one selling point of the car itrs lights & nippy & handles well, to improve the nippy part would nean avoiding the V6 IMO...
but it would b great to see if it would go as a one off. i cant see iy taking off & being the next best thing tho. -
#17Nah really wasnt saying I do that, but I guess if i had 40 million laying around my bank or something then it could be a good/funny way to spend it!

#18a doubt bout changing the chassis they managed to put one in a 205 think it sat squint tho and the had to cut a bit out the top pannel
