immobiliser box!

    why cant i find it? looked under passenger side dash but theres nothin there?

    2000 vtr btw?

    Maybe the previous owner bypassed it and took it out?

    Does your immobiliser light come on with the electrics?

    thats reminded me i need to put mine back onto the plastic plate it straps too

    nah its there somewhere as its just locked a flaming ECU on me :@

    i cant find it tho

    just had another good look under the dash nothing but wires and electrical tape?

    hi ive changed my transponder and still my immobiliser light flashes and my car wont start please help ....

    cant even find my immobiliser lol oh its a 2001 vtr any ideas wud help wot i was lookin for looked underdash on passenger side jst found i think is my central locking device

    It's tucked above/side of the glovebox.

    i just did this ten mins ago
    have a small flat head screwdriver to hand turn on car then disconnect the black box with the engine running and throw black box as far away as possible then turn off engine and restart job done

    do not under any circumstances disconnect black box without engine running you will lock the ecu... engine must be ON

    thanks for this mate the problem is we have lost the keys and they are charging £90 for new key

    then they want us to tow the car to them to be programmed.is there anyway round this please

    no mate if you havent got the key for the ignition then your gonna have to tow it to them

    ive brought a saxo vts engine to fit to my 106 it comes with every thing apart from the black box is there any way round this any help much apricated i read on here that u can put a live feed to fuel pump to get it runing then take black box out please help
