K&N INDUCTION KIT

IVE RECENTLY FITTED A K&N KIT TO MY VTS ITS BEEN SPOT ON FOR TWO WEEKS BUT LAST NIGHT IT SUCKED OIL FROM MY ENGINE INTO THE FILTER AND MY INJECTORS. I NEED TO KNOW THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN THE FILTER (I DONT CARE ABOUT THE WARRENTY)AND MY INJECTORS.

where did you suck in oil from????

best thing to clean it is to get the K+N cleaning kit which includes a cleaner and oil solution to get it like new

from the rocker cover . I know this means that it was probably over filled with oil but it is at the correct level on the dip stick but the dipstick looks like its been twisted round about 20 times is this normal.

yes. dipstick is twistsed from new..

have u checked ur oil after the car has been running.. or.. after its been standing a few hours??

normal for a oil mist to be sucked through,from the dirty air pipe

shouldnt suck? through the injectors though all they do is purely inject fuel! or do u mean that the injector bodys are oil soaked?

thanks mark u have put my mind at rest about the dip stick it has worried me for a while.

yes injector bodys are oil soaked ollyvtr any idea how to clean it out everyone says redex but thats for the injectors.

If its just to wash the outside of them off m8,

brake cleaner is best as it will evaporate quickly!

Any good car parts place will sell it in a can and it will get rid off all oil traces!
