Saxo VTS running problems

   Hi,
   
   I have just brought a saxo vts and am having some running problems with it. It starts and runs okay but seem to cut out on a run, I will drive it for a few miles and it cuts out and won't start again. I don't know if it is something simple like a broken wire or coil pack problem. Are there any common faults with ecu etc. I have plugged the code reader into it and no faults come up. I towed it into the my garage on sat, check the spark which it had and it started up no problem and was ticking over fine for about 10/15mins but it was when i took it for a run it cut out.

   Sounds like your alternator isnt keeping the battery charged mate. Or could be your battery isnt holding charge properly.

   it still has plenty of power as a can spin over the engine but just doesn't fire!!

   lambda sensor, my mates did this, swapped it over and was perfect.

   fuel pump, if it spluters a bit before it cuts out
