    Probably a n00b question, but does it need to be totally flat against the windscreen? I've fitted a new which gapes by about 1mm at one corner.

    Car shouldn't leak should it?

    wont leak man no as the seal is under the glass like

    small gaps are ok but it should fit pretty flush mine did
