Important! : Saxo starting then cutting out

    Vts lump in a furio (fuel return blocked with a screw, no fuel leaking out)
    New Fuel Pump
    New Fuel Filter
    Changed throttle position sensor & Cleaned the ICV

    It starts up and cuts out straight away everytime & it's doing my head in.
    What could it be?

    Possible causes for the car to cut out immediately could be:-
    1) Blocked injector or injectors.
    2) Faulty injectors.
    3) Vacuum leak at the throttle body.
    4) Vacuum leak at the inlet manifold.
    5) Inertia switch in operation. (Fuel cut out switch) Reset.
    6) Mechanicl failure on the cam shaft drive.

    Couple of other likely causes to your problem, thinking back on it. You say you had a new filter, check which direction the arrow on the filter is pointing. The arrow should point towards the engine or follow the line along just in case your filter line has changed direction as someone once pointed out. Also check to see if you have a flow of fuel as you have had a new pump fitted. I once had a new fuel pump and it sucked rather than blew and I had to change the connections around.
