Speedo gone again

   My speedo has gone again, and ive had to resort to using the sat-nav to watch my speed.
   
   Does anyone know how the speedo works? I know theres a sensor on the gearbox. But is there anything else it could be? I know older cars used to have a bendy metal cable, but im really hoping the Saxo doesnt have this so it will be easier to fix
   
   Just spent £440 to get it through its MOT aswell. I did think about taking it back to Kwik-Fit and saying they must of done something, but dont think id get away with it lol

   I would imagine it has a cable from the little drive thingy on the grearbox, probably just the cable snapped.

   Does the cable go from the gearbox speed drive to the ECU? Or directly to the dial cluster?
