Painting The Floor

    Hi

    Wondering if anyone can help

    Stripped my red saxo and fitted a cage therefore having no carpet etc

    Im wanting to paint the floor black

    I was going to use hammerite do i a) brush it on?
    b) use the new aerosol hammerite?

    Anyone has any pervious experience doing this and got any hints/tips ?

    aerosol would look much much better as its smooth, but your looking at £7 per can prob need about 3-4 cans, paint on you could see stroke marks, buts its £18 for a litre (i think). also lacquer it m8!

    Ye i was thinking about seeing the brush strokes thats why I was asking if anyone had any experience painting it on

    I'd use the aerosol version mate, more expensive but leaves a much better finish!

    And you don't need to lacquer Hammerite, especially as it won't be exposed to the elements.

    Aerosol finish is alot nicer, but in the end you pay for the finish you get.

    Also as above no need for lacquer hammerite is a very strong paint.
