Doorcards

  1. #1
    Hi

Just stripped my mk1 saxo and fitted a cage

The door bars obstruct the doorcards so they have been removed. Planning on making some like the carbon fibre ones you can buy but out of perspex of similar material

The only perspex I can find at the moment is clear (transparent) ... does anyone think using black aerosol would work / look any good ??

    anyone have any experience ?

    cheers

im thinking a sheet of coloured paper laminated.
waterproof, strong enough ? and ten times lighter than cf.
now whos going to send me the stencils ? but then again its still heavier than the hole in the door !

its the weight thats the problem.
yes cf is really light, but laminated paper is lighter again.but then again does the hole in the door bother me that much ? erm not really, its a bit of a problem the rare time i have a passenger.they look for a door handle, aint got one.
though some kind of door card is neater looking.
