Leak from sunroof or arial hole??????

   I have a 99 vtr with winde back sunroof but there is watter that dripps of the handle to winde back sunroof and when i took off the plastic cover the roof was soaked. just want know is the watter cumin in threw sunroof seals ect or has any1 had the water leak threw the arial hole?????

   If it's the aerial hole it comes through the interior light mate.

   just take the interior light out and seal around where the arial is, should solve your problem if thats where its coming from

   It may also be coming from your windscreen

   i have the same problem... someone told me to seal the screw hole and it should solve the problem... i also have a leak and its soakin my passenger footwell... im thinking maybe my rear washer pipe may have a leak?

   i swear almost everyone i know with a 106 or saxo has this problem

    undo the roof lining and check that water aint leekin threw the screws under the black piece of plastic strip that goes round the sun roof on the inside. i had water in my foot well on drivers side (it was soakin wet) it was water drippin threw a screw on the sun roof and the rain water was drippin on to the plastic strip then on to me inner roof liner and down the rite pillar and down the inside of the dash lol --strange stuff that rain water is lol--just suff some sealant round the screw thats leakin!!!!

    I had this problem on my 1999 VTR for a couple of years, didnt mind until it sent the central locking crazy. In the end I took the roof lining out and found it was the metal by the drain holes is a bad design and water has been literrally sitting there for probably all 11 years of its life, resulted in rusted hole therefor water getting in. In the end I took the sunroof out, chipped away the rust, used fibreglass underneath to sort the hole then used sealant to level it ouyt so the water actuallt went into the drainage tubes. Also check the tubes aint blocked up a mine where also. I then sealed around the sunroof, around the ariel hole and also around the windscreen to be safe. Problemo sorted!
