Saxo Power stearing

   Hi
   
   Just brought 1.1i 2003 desire from auction and found to my surprise that there was no powerstearing, i was just wondering if this model should have powerstearing or was it standard in some models for there not to have it fitted? if so then know i will need a new powerstearing pump.

   i've broken 3 desires in the past couple of months and all had power steering, easy to check wether its fitted or not, check for fluid resevoir on front panel near the radiator on the passenger side, if you need a pump i have good used ones here. i know saxo forte's and first's didn't have power steering as standard.
