I'm assuming that if the lights above the numberplate are not working then it will fail an MOT but what happens when the boot has been smoothed and there are no lights put in?

#6Anyone know how you get the covers off? just pull on em?
-
#7yes it will fail mot and to take standard ones out i beleieve they have something holding them in i tooke the boot lining plastic out and managed to get them out like that just dont yank them with a screwdriver as theyl snap
-
#8yeah don't yank them out i did and broke them!
cheap replacements on ebay though the whole black part, bulb and cover for 2.50
could be worse! -
#9i think way to take cover off is from the back by taking the black cover off theres about 2 or 3 screws and it should pop off
