Yeah so the title was a lie, just to get you looking, but hey! It worked right?

I know hundreds have already asked this, but i've seen NO decent replies as of yet.

I'm trying to fit a cone air filter (only want noise and looks - you can keep your 2-3 bhp gain for £200 thanks).

I've got a vtr, 96. The one with the 2 pipes going into the standard air filter. I know the one from the rocker cover is a breather, so ive just got to bung a breather folter on it.

But what do i do with the other one? It looks like the air temp sensor to me. Is that right?

Also, what else do i need to buy? Fittings wise that is. What size tubing etc?

If i get the help i need im going to make a threat explaining this, because i cant find even one decent one. Ive been looking for daaaaaays.

    Rant over! Thanks

hi mate, i had the same problem as you and could never get a straight answer. basically what i done was unscrew the air temp sensor from the original airbox and fitted it to a silicone hose, also you'll need to put on the vaccum pipe on the hose aswell, thats what i done... PM me your email address as i have pics on my pc and i'll email you what i done if you want???
