   Brought My Saxo Vtr Last Weekend ( Phase 1 ) And Didnt Have A Chance To Test Out Performance Untill Now...
   
   With Me & 2 Other Reasonibly Sized People In The Car It Topped Out At 125??..
   ( Ona Private Streach Of Road )
   
   Cant Help But Think Either Spedo's Wrong Or I Have A Mental Vtr As Also The Head Gasket Is On The Way Out...
   
   Anyone Got Answers???..

   All speedos are wrong by some degree, there are hundreds of HUGE threads on this subject.

   Private stretch of road my balls lol ive had 115 out of my old 1.4 only had uprated backbox (Unless my speedo was wrong)

   Haha Lol.. And My Motor Totally Standard Just Throught It Seemed A Bit Too High With The Added Weight.. And Spedo's Normally Out By About 10%..

   my speedo reads 78mph my snooper 70mph.on a private road as im only 11.

    The old speedos are more wrong than the digital ones, but with more weight on the car the tyres get more flatter so that gains the speedo more in a fake way, take a GPS with you than on the highway.

    ive seen vids of breathed VTS's off the clock, so I guess its poss. Private road mate you must be loaded!

    When you say private road do you mean no one else was on it lol. I've had 135 out of my standard VTS on the motorway. Now got full system and just done a service so I reckon I could get it off the clock but haven't tried and probably won't lol.
    Mate reckons hes got 135 out of his VTR :\ so who knows.

    Had my speedo showing just over 130, breathed vtr, so it's possible.
    
    118mph on limiter in 5th now tho, 1.1 box

    Why do poeple care about top speed? I thought it was all about how quick it gets there tbh.
    
    Anything over 90mph on public roads is just silly tbh. On a motorway i might go faster than 90 to over take a stream of cars quickly, but i soon slow down to 90 which majority of drivers drive at on a motorway.
