   got a VTR on sunday, drove from wales to salisbury no problem
   
   yesterday, got in, tried to drive, jsut would work, it turned on fine, then whenever i put my fut on the accelerator, it jsut juddered about, like it would bareley accelerate, and proper violently shook the car back and forward, jsut kept losing power
   
   what the hell is that?

   it worked fine after a mile yesterday, then today, it's started to do it again

   Coilpack or fuel pump at a guess. Best try coilpack firtst becauzse it's easier to change and cheaper to get one from the scrappy's.

   well, i'll have a look at them tonight i guess, then go find a local scrapyard....

   guess you could relate the shudder to when you're driving in the wrong gear, if that makes any difference
