   any reason why it pops on?
   
   i've just changed oil and filter and spark plugs last week?
   
   i dont need a warning light telling me its a shit engine... coz i know

   nah not alternator mate..
   probably a sensor in the engine.. a common one would be lambda but theres loadsa things it could be, make friends with someone who has an OBD fault code reader or take it to a garage

   haha! Fair enough, could be something like a knock sensor which could possibly really fuck your engine over but if you aint bothered then fuck it.. with french cars its never the component that goes wrong... only the sensors controlling the part haha, your car is probably fine

   its only a stop gap car...
   
   had a nice ek9 civic with integra b16c... full works 230bhp but binned it just before xmas... lost 6k on it
   
   hoping to get either a Leon Cupra R or Corolla TTE compressor in the summer

    my corolla i had was just the n/a 1.8 tsport with 189bhp...
    
    there were 250 corolla compressor tte's made with 212bhp available in the uk...
