hi i crashed my saxo last night and i think i have knocked the passanger wheel back as its now rubbing on the wing , also cant drive it and its hard getting it into gear, lots of noise grinding, clunking etc any ideas what it could be?? or what i need to get it sorted??

-
#2hmm .... sounds nackered to me, unlucky matee
-
#4
hahaha funny! nuthins knackered! everything can be fixed lol
-
#5im thinking bent wishbone and possible bent driveshaft? thought that could be why not driving properly and causing the noise??
-
#6wishbone for the wheel maybe depends if you bent anything else gears look at all the linkages and see if exhaust is bent at all aswell
-
#7Probably looking at track rod ends as the main damage to the wheel. Possibly wishbone, it completely depends.
-
#8control arm wishbone assembly...
easy fix
3 bolts iirc... you can do it yourself...
two bolts are under the carpet...

did it to mine...
change this and it should bring your wheel back in line...
try this first -
#9I wouldn't risk driving it mate, Sounds like the wishbone has been damaged + other things damaged
-
#10Dont drive it, you will inevitably die.
-
#11pics would help??
-
#12right fitted a new wishbone new anti roll bar and a new driveshaft today, but still ant drivin right crunches and grindes wen trying to drive any ideas wot this cud be im thinking gearbox? gear linkage??

-
#13unlucky mate yeah if youve knocked the wheel back pulling on the driveshafts you could have done damage to the gear box mate
-
#14so do you think i need a new gearbox ??
-
#15wheel bearing broken up? could be the splines inside the gearbox stripped. does it actually drive?
-
#16drives a bit then crunches n grindes feels almost like sumthing is gunna pop out??
-
#17Right looked under the car today and the brand new driveshaft has split and broke anyone no a reason for this??
-
#18probably add gear box then or clutch
